Many of the early religious founders essentially recognized that “hypocrisy is the inevitable result of morally indicting another person’s primate behavior, because somewhere within yourself, the same impulses exist.”

Yet in every case the insight was absorbed by tribal impulse and lost its utility as a guide for individual escape. Hierarchies cannot metabolize a signal that does not reinforce hierarchy. You cannot fully individuate while still performing identity inside a status system that demands conformity of the self.

The moment someone is apprehended by the tribe as a leader, or their idea is collectivized and monetized, it becomes subject to primate social protocols and loses the original solitary context in which its meaning was generated. It turns into just another mantra for the primate theater.

Individuation-grade knowledge is ego-solvent by design. Its only job is to dissolve every identity that can be recognized, applauded, or sold.

The instant that same knowledge is packaged—books, courses, retreats, speaking tours, Patreon tiers—it becomes the most expensive ego-scaffolding ever created.

The teacher must now inhabit two incompatible states at once:
“I have died to self”
and
“I have a public brand to protect, followers to lead, and bills to pay.”

These two operating systems cannot share the same nervous system. The psyche is forced to be dead enough to speak the truth and alive enough to enjoy the applause, the revenue, and the status.

That contradiction does not integrate; it inflates. The ego blows up to messianic size to cover the gap. Eventually the structure ruptures: addiction, paranoid crusade, nervous collapse, or quiet disappearance.

This is probably what drove Jordan Peterson mad. He tried to broadcast the desert revelation from the cathedral pulpit, and the wires melted in public.

The knowledge itself remains untouched, unpurchasable, and merciless: you may dissolve, or you may perform the dissolution for profit, but you may not do both without losing a coherent self.

The knowledge is not neutral; it is actively booby-trapped against collectivization. The instant the insight is used to gather a tribe or become the new moral center of a hierarchy, it flips polarity and begins to devour its carrier instead of the ego it was meant to constructively dissolve.

You cannot combine occult awakening with hierarchy social signaling (primate penis theater) and identity performance without fracturing sanity.
